Keith Powell – Project Manager

Hi, I’m Keith Powell. I was born on August 11, 1979, in Grand Junction, Colorado. My
journey has taken me across the country—from early years in Nebraska, Colorado, and
California, to a brief stint in Hawaii, and eventually back to my roots in Grand Junction,
where I currently live.

My education started at Garden Grove Elementary in Simi Valley, California, continued
at Mt. Garfield Middle School in Clifton, Colorado, and I graduated from Palisade High
School in Palisade, Colorado.

My professional path began at Wendy’s in 1998, where I climbed the ranks from food
handler to general manager over five years. I then transitioned into landscaping and
construction, working with companies like Deep Creek Landscaping, Contour Curbing,
Seriani Concrete, and Merritt and Associates. Since 2016, I’ve been with Mark
Construction, where I’ve grown from laborer to project supervisor.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about football. I served as defensive coordinator and
later head coach for the Grand Junction Gladiators, earning multiple coaching awards
and championships. I’ve also coached youth football and currently officiate pee wee
games. When I’m not on the field, you’ll likely find me on the golf course—I’m an avid
golfer.
